AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.
The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Extra Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside several artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-inspired attire for Yasuke
- Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Addition
This release also adds the game's newest free story episode, titled "The Enigma."
